Monkey Scribble Test Animation

I hope you guys can forgive the shitty consistency in the model but I was more worried about the movement and thus volumes and such were not the first priority. But so far there is all the extremes and about 95% of the break down and plus a bit of straight ahead in places.I should have a tie down some time this week but I can't promise that cause if I did i know i won't have it by then.

As always please crit this to bits. Oh i tried not to take reference from the James Baxter monkey in the lion king cause i didn't want people to compare it to that master piece. But i think bits and pieces crept in anyway like in the hand movements.

Hey Patrick. Lookin good man. IF I could lend an eye at all, The legs/arms seem a bit stiff throughout the jumps.I think a bit of squash/stretch into the landings and some follow through will add a nice bit of weight to the movement, just to feel those landings a bit more. In terms of timing, i would possibly add a bit of anticipation before the second jump. Just to give him a bit of recovery etc. Just a slight hold i'd say, 3 - 5 frames even.

Otherwise, after the jump I really like the walk and the turn/jump after that. looks well good. Is this animation for a short film of just testing?

Cheer man ,thanks for the advice. A lot of where you where talking about I've add some break downs and it has created a bit more flexibility but yeah i think i should go back into the drawings and add holds and stuff.

Yeah it was going to be a 20-30 sec short but i got lazy and i only wanted to animate this and the scene after. So that is all I'm doing. the short idea was stupid any way. so its just a test at the moment
